Broken Hill Mines (ASX:BHM) restarted operations in the Edwards open pit at the Pinnacles mine in New South Wales, delivering the first silver-lead-zinc ore for processing, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The firm's strategy includes the use of its nearby 750,000-tonnes-per-annum Rasp processing plant. The Pinnacles mine represents the third silver-lead-zinc ore feed source for the plant. Additional ore feeds are also under assessment, per the filing.
Its shares jumped 6% in recent trading on Wednesday.
