Agenus (AGEN) three-year, 123-patient phase 1b study of its drug botensilimab plus balstilimab in patients with refractory microsatellite-stable metastatic colorectal cancer without active liver metastases showed 21.2-month median overall survival, a 33% three-year overall survival, and a survival curve plateau beyond two years.

A safety follow-up showed no new safety signals or treatment-related deaths, the company said.

The drug combination showed "clinically meaningful long-term survival" among heavily pretreated patients with few other treatment options after progression on standard therapies, the company said.
