0613 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening slightly lower with IG calling the OMX30 down 0.1% at around 3244. An increasing number of ships are passing through the Strait of Hormuz, despite the continued high uncertainty, while freight prices are rising, SEB's Sweden senior macro strategist Amanda Sundstrom writes. "Credibility and stability will be key factors for a normalization in the future," Sundstrom says. Major stock indexes in Asia are mixed, while futures indicate a slightly negative opening in Europe but gains in the U.S. following the holiday weekend. Data today includes German factory orders and U.S. ISM services and several central bank speeches. OMXS30 closed at 3247.03, OMXN40 at 2758.19 and OBX at 1876.89. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)

0602 GMT - Supalai's presales likely rose 9.2% from a year earlier in 1H on higher condominium presales in Bangkok and upcountry, CGS International's Pornthipa Rayabsangduan says in a research report. The Thai property developer's presales should be stronger in 2H, supported by an increase in new launches and higher inventory sales from newly completed condo projects, the analyst says. At a recent analyst meeting, the company said it maintains new project launches of 35 billion baht for this year. However, the brokerage cuts its 2026-2028 EPS forecasts for Supalai by 5.0%-5.3% to partly reflect lower land-transfer assumptions. It lowers the stock's target price to 17.90 baht from 18.80 baht, with an unchanged add rating. Shares are 1.8% lower at 16.10 baht. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)

0555 GMT - Singapore real-estate investment trusts' distributions per unit are likely to grow marginally this financial year amid higher-for-longer interest rates, says OCBC Group Research's Andy Wong in a media briefing. REITs covered by the bank posted a "mixed bag" of earnings for the first quarter, while the central banks in markets where Singapore REITs have relatively larger exposure to--namely Europe, Australia and Japan--have started increasing their rates, the senior equity analyst says. Higher interest rates tend to hurt REITs' financial metrics as they refinance loans, increasing their borrowing costs. OCBC cuts its distribution per unit forecasts by an average of 1.0% for this financial year and by an average of 1.4% for the next financial year. He expects growth this year to be "more flattish." 0555 GMT - Singapore real-estate investment trusts are unlikely to outperform the broader equities market despite seemingly reasonable valuations, says OCBC Group Research's Andy Wong in a media briefing. Singapore REITs' distribution yield spread versus local government bond yields still seems attractive at almost 420 bps, which is around half a standard deviation above the 10-year average, the senior equity analyst says. However, this isn't likely to be enough to a support a meaningful rerating, as investors are also interested in growth, he says. REITs' earnings are likely to see limited gains this year amid a higher-for-longer interest rate environment, he says. OCBC recommends staying selective on Singapore REITs, preferring those with strong balance sheets and exposure to Singapore's "healthy" benchmark interest rate such as CapitaLand Ascendas REIT and CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust. 0524 GMT - Thai Union Group's gross profit margin outlook is likely brighter, Maybank Securities (Thailand)'s Tanida Jirapornkasemsuk says in a research report. The seafood products producer's gross profit margin is estimated to improve to 19.7% in 2Q from 18.2% in 1Q, thanks to its price increases, the analyst says. Also, lower tuna prices should support the Thai company's margins in 2H, the analyst says. The brokerage lifts its 2026-2028 core EPS forecasts for Thai Union Group by 1%-5% to reflect better-than-expected gross profit margin. It raises the stock's target price to 12.00 baht from 11.50 baht with an unchanged hold rating. Shares are 1.7% higher at 12.00 baht. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
