AbbVie (ABBV) said late Monday it expects Q2 results to include acquired in-process research and development and milestone expense of $291 million before tax, an impact of $0.17 to both GAAP and non-GAAP EPS.

For 2026, AbbVie said it now expects adjusted EPS $13.91 to $14.11, including the Q2 impact of IPR&D and milestones expense. It now expects Q2 adjusted EPS of $3.57 to $3.61.

The company said its previous 2026 guidance from April 29 excluded the impact of acquired IPR&D and milestones expense that may be incurred beyond the Q1.
