SunPower (SPWR) said Tuesday it named Tom Kowalczuk as its new chief financial officer who will report to the chairman and chief executive officer.

Kowalczuk most recently worked as the CFO of Bespoken Spirits, the company said.

Shares of the company were up 6% in Tuesday premarket activity.
