1414 Degrees Says Ukrainian Defense Export Reform Boosts Commercial Opportunities for SiNTL Battery Program

1414 Degrees (ASX:14D) said Ukraine's approval of a new defense export framework represents a commercial boost for the company's SiNTL battery program, giving it a potential pathway to supply allied defense markets under intergovernmental deals, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The defense export reform allows approved defense technologies produced in Ukraine to be exported to partner nations, expanding the scope of deployment for the SiNTL program beyond Ukraine, per the filing.

The company in June entered into a SiNTL battery qualification testing and services agreement with Ukrainian defense manufacturer Energia 2000, which currently manufactures about 72,000 drones per year and is targeting production of up to 360,000 units annually over the next two years.

SiNTL has shown at least 50% higher anode-specific capacity compared with conventional graphite materials, 1414 Degrees said.
