Kingdee International Software (HKG:0268) expects an attributable profit of between 40 million yuan and 60 million yuan for the six months ended June 30, compared with a loss of 98 million yuan a year prior.

Revenue for the half-year is expected to rise 13% to 14% to between 3.61 billion yuan and 3.64 billion yuan from 3.19 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The cloud services company attributed the profit forecast to the economies of scale of its subscription business and efficiency improvements due to AI.
