Shell Accepts $6.3 Billion of Notes in Exchange Offers

Shell (SHEL) received valid tenders for about $6.3 billion of outstanding unregistered notes in its previously announced exchange offers, the oil giant said Thursday.

The company said about $6.3 billion of restricted notes were exchanged for an equal amount of newly registered notes issued by Shell Finance US and guaranteed by Shell.

Settlement of the exchange offers is expected on July 13, it added.
