Garmin (GRMN) has launched its G2000 Prime integrated flight deck designed for high-performance piston and electric planes, the company said Thursday.
The system has 14-inch touchscreen primary monitors with improved performance and pilots can manage system controls and enter data using secondary screens that can also function as backup flight instruments, the company said.
The aviation hardware integrates automated emergency landing capabilities, runway collision alerts, and digital checklists linked to crew notifications, Garmin said.
