Huaqin Technology (SHA:603296, HKG:3296) raised its stake in semiconductor foundry Nexchip (SHA:688249, HKG:2249) to about 10.00%.

Subsidiary Huaqin Communications acquired over 1.6 million Nexchip H shares on July 10 for HK$56.4 million, according to a weekend filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Shares of the smart hardware products manufacturer were down 5% on the Hong Kong bourse and 4% in Shanghai.
