Create SD's (TYO:3148) profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 8.3% to nearly 17 billion yen for the fiscal year ended May 31, from 15.7 billion yen a year earlier.

The drugstore operator's basic earnings per share increased to 263 yen from 242.82 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.

Net sales jumped 8.8% to 497.1 billion yen from 457.1 billion yen in the prior year.

For the fiscal year ending May 31, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 17 billion yen, EPS of 263.15 yen, and net sales of 541 billion yen.

In a separate filing, Create SD declared a year-end dividend of 48 yen, exceeding its earlier forecast of 45 yen and higher than the 44 yen paid a year ago.

The total dividend payment amounts to 6.01 billion yen, payable from retained earnings on Aug. 24.

Create SD plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 48 yen per share, each, for the year, which is higher than the amounts paid in the year-ago period.
