Cadence Design Systems (CDNS) said Wednesday it introduced an artificial intelligence platform called AuraStack to design printed circuit boards and advanced packaging, scheduled to be released within the year.

The technology coordinates specialized automated programs to speed up product launch timelines by 2 times and increase operational efficiency 15 times, the company said.

The system combines separate engineering teams around a shared framework to evaluate real-time thermal and mechanical performance, Cadence said.
