First Advantage Shares Rise Ahead of Joining S&P Smallcap 600

Shares of First Advantage gained ahead of joining an index that tracks the performance of small companies.

The stock rose 5.8% to $20.68 on Monday. Shares are up 42% year to date.

S&P Dow Jones Indices, a division of S&P Global, said First Advantage would join its S&P SmallCap 600 index prior to the opening of trading on Tuesday, replacing Kennedy-Wilson Holdings.

The changes comes as a consortium led by Kennedy-Wilson Holdings's chief executive, and which includes Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, plans to acquire Kennedy-Wilson Holdings in a deal expected to close soon, according to S&P.
