Genius Sports Shares Rise on Partnership with Polymarket, Mexican Soccer League

Shares of Genius Sports rose after the company disclosed it would be involved in a partnership between Polymarket and Mexcio's top professional soccer league.

The stock was up 6.8% to $6.61 in midday trading on Monday. Shares have fallen 40% this year.

Genius Sports said it will provide Polymarket with official data to support the creation and settlement of related sports prediction market contracts.

Under terms of the partnership, Polymarket will become an official sponsor of Liga MX and serve as its exclusive prediction market partner.

Genius Sports is also Liga MX's official data, streaming and integrity partner.
