Alarm.com (ALRM) said Thursday it has introduced a commercial fire signaling device that replaces traditional phone-line systems and that integrates with existing control panels.
The technology transmits emergency alerts to central monitoring facilities while simultaneously sending real-time notifications to property managers through an app, the company said.
The equipment uses broadband and cellular networks with multiple carrier options to maintain consistent transmission if one network fails, Alarm.com said.
Financial terms of the service were not disclosed.
