Auckland International Airport (ASX:AIA, NZE:AIA) recorded 1.3 million total passenger movements in June, down 4% year on year, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

Total passenger movements for the financial year to date reached 19 million in June, marking a 2% year-on-year increase, per the filing.

Total international passenger movements fell 4% to 722,456, the filing said.

Excluding transits, international passenger movements decreased by 5%. International seat capacity fell 2%, resulting in average load factors of 79%, a 1.6 percentage-point decrease year on year.

Domestic passenger movements fell 5% to 597,413, the filing added.
