Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) said underground drilling and development defined multiple lenses in a previously unrecognized orientation, confirming significant untapped potential within the Paulsens gold operation in Western Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

It encountered intercepts of 4.8 meters at 18.8 grams per tonne grade of gold from 50.93 meters, as well as 1.52 meters at 54.40 g/t grade of gold from 50.99 meters at the Lynx lode, and 3.7 meters at 40.3 g/t grade of gold from 45 meters at the Regulus lode.

Lynx was defined over 200 meters of strike and 260 meters of vertical extent. It appears to extend to the surface, with surface drilling underway to test up-plunge extensions.
