Rox Resources (ASX:RXL) secured works approval for the processing plant, tailings storage facility, wastewater treatment facility, power station, and associated infrastructure at its Youanmi Mine in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The contractor started construction works for the processing plant, designed with a nameplate capacity of 1 million tonnes per year, the filing said.

The company expects its first gold pour by mid-2027, per the filing.
