CoStar Group, Inc. appointed Robin Rossmann chief financial officer succeeding Christian Lown, who will step down to pursue an opportunity outside the company's industry.
Rossmann currently serves as CoStar Group's managing director, Europe, where for the past two years he cut the region's costs by about 25% while delivering double-digit revenue growth and launching CoStar in France, the company said Monday. He joined CoStar through its 2019 acquisition of STR and previously spent 13 years at Deloitte.
Rossmann's appointment is effective July 31, the same day Lown will be stepping down.
The company said Lown's departure was not the result of any disagreement with its operations, policies or practices.
