Entropy Neurodynamics (ASX:ENP) said it was granted a patent in South Africa covering methods of treating fibromyalgia using psilocybin, with a term extended to September 2043, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The patent provides broad intellectual property protection covering the clinical use of psilocybin for the treatment of fibromyalgia, including therapeutic methods, dosing regimens, patient selection criteria, clinical assessment protocols, biomarkers, treatment outcome measures, integration therapy, and manufacture.

The patent term is subject to the payment of annual renewal fees.
