GBM Resources (ASX:GBM) said stage two drilling at the Twin Hill gold project in Queensland confirmed that mineralization beyond the existing mineral resource estimate, while also confirming stronger grades and higher-grade continuity within the current resource, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

It encountered an intercept of 45 meters at 2.21 grams per tonne grade of gold from 346 meters from within the existing mineral resource, as well as 35 meters at 2.29 g/t grade of gold from 242 meters, and 25 meters at 1.09 g/t grade of gold from 213 meters.

Around 23,000 meters of the planned 50,000 meters for the stage two drill program have been completed. The firm will begin a regional exploration program, with one drill rig to be redeployed to drill high-priority targets.
