Weave Communications (WEAV) said Friday it integrated its patient engagement software with Elation Health's clinical records system for independent primary care practices.

The update automatically synchronizes medical and appointment data between the two platforms, eliminating the need for manual file uploads, the company said.

The combined technology allows medical staff to instantly identify callers, automate visit reminders, and request online reviews after appointments, Weave said.

Shares of the company were up 1% in Friday premarket activity.
