1239 GMT - Yields on U.K. government bonds, or gilts, climb further after Thursday's European Central Bank interest rate decision. The ECB left interest rates unchanged at 2.25% but said that uncertainty remains high and the full effects of the Middle East conflict are yet to materialize. Ten-year gilt yields rise 5.4 basis points to hit a new two-month high of 5.096% following the rate decision, Tradeweb data show. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
