0901 ET - Philip Morris International says the war in Iran has had a minor impact on its business so far. The conflict has mainly impacted transportation, energy and other input costs, and hasn't resulted in any discernible shift in consumer behavior, the company says in its 2Q release. The Middle East is especially crucial for Philip Morris, which relies on countries such as Egypt and Turkey for growth in its combustibles segment. The company says it is not assuming a prolonged impact from the war in its full-year forecast, but it has factored in some increases in input costs. (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
