Morgan Stanley (MS) is working on a collateralized fund obligation for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners in a transaction worth around $1 billion, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

CIP specializes in energy infrastructure, including solar and wind power. The bonds are backed by grouped stakes in some of its private capital funds, allowing fixed-income investors to buy higher-rated parts of the debt, the report said.

Morgan Stanley and CIP did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
