Encompass Health Raises Quarterly Dividend by 10.5%

Encompass Health's board has raised the rehabilitation hospital owner's quarterly dividend by 10.5%, to 21 cents from 19 cents.

The new payout, equal to 84 cents a year, represents an annual yield of about 0.76% based on Wednesday's closing price of $111.02, up from 0.68%.

The Birmingham, Ala., company on Thursday said the increased dividend is payable Oct. 15 to shareholders of record Oct. 1.
