American Resources (AREC) said Tuesday its minority-owned unit ReElement Technologies hired 13 employees to help expand its critical mineral refining operations.

The new personnel will fill roles in engineering, finance and maintenance to support the launch of a processing campus in Marion, Indiana, the company said.

The hiring push is part of the company's plan to transition the business from testing technologies to full commercial output, American Resources said.
