ReposiTrak (TRAK) said Tuesday that the first warehouse-delivered supplier went live with a major retailer on its scan-based trading platform.

The platform allows vendors to ship merchandise through a retailer's distribution network while retaining inventory ownership until the item is purchased at the register, the company said.

The updated system uses point-of-sale data to automatically trigger the ownership transfer and process vendor payments, ReposiTrak said.

The software also offers optional ordering assistance to help partners manage stock refills using the store's sales metrics, the company said.
