Applied Digital reported higher revenue and posted an adjusted profit in the fourth quarter as new artificial intelligence data-center capacity came online and long-term customer agreements added revenue.

The AI data-center operator reported a net loss of $111.6 million, or 39 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $53.1 million, or 24 cents, a year earlier.

Adjusted earnings were 4 cents a share, compared with analysts' expectations of negative 14 cents a share, according to FactSet.

Revenue rose to $258.7 million, up from $51.1 million a year earlier, and analysts polled by FactSet expected $237.5 million.

Applied Digital said tenant fit-out services and base rent at its Polaris Forge 1 campus lifted sales as it brought another 75 megawatts online on schedule and added long-term leases with an investment-grade hyperscaler.

"We believe delivering on time is a genuine differentiator in this industry," Chief Executive Wes Cummins said.
