LiveWire Group Inc. (NYSE:LVWR) stock surged more than 71% on Monday after the electric motorcycle maker reported strong second-quarter revenue growth and narrower losses.

Second-Quarter Results Boost Investor Sentiment

On Thursday, LiveWire reported second-quarter results for the period ended June 30. Revenue increased 55% year over year to $9.1 million from $5.9 million, driven by higher unit sales in both its Electric Motorcycles and STACYC businesses.

The company also reduced its net loss to $18.2 million from $18.8 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA loss improved to $15.1 million from $15.7 million. LiveWire maintained its full-year guidance.

“The second quarter marked an important step forward in the execution of our strategic growth plan,” Chief Executive Karim Donnez said. He cited the start of production of the new S4 Honcho platform, the acquisition of Dust Motorcycles and continued cost discipline as key drivers of the quarter’s performance.

Electric Motorcycles And STACYC Deliver Growth

The Electric Motorcycles segment posted the strongest growth. Motorcycle unit sales jumped 386% to 267, while revenue climbed 333% to $3.6 million from $0.8 million. Segment operating loss remained unchanged at $18.0 million as lower selling, administrative and engineering expenses were offset by higher inventory-related costs.

The STACYC segment also improved. Revenue increased 9% to $5.5 million as unit sales rose 7% to 5,223 electric balance bikes. The segment reached break-even at the operating level, compared with a $0.3 million operating loss a year earlier, helped by tariff recoveries.

Product Expansion And Market Position

During the quarter, LiveWire completed its acquisition of Dust Motorcycles and began production of the S4 Honcho platform, with the first units expected to reach dealers later this summer. The company also reported a 76% year-to-date share of the U.S. 50-plus kilowatt electric on-road motorcycle market.

For the first six months of 2026, net cash used in operating activities improved 18% to $26.4 million, while free cash flow improved 19% to negative $27.7 million. LiveWire ended the quarter with $52.9 million in cash and cash equivalents.

Harley-Davidson Inc. (NYSE:HOG) remains LiveWire’s majority and controlling shareholder.
