Upbound Shares Fall After Q2 Non-GAAP Earnings Decline, Q3 Outlook Misses Estimates

Upbound Group (UPBD) shares were down more than 2% in Thursday trading after the company reported Q2 non-GAAP earnings of $1.07 per diluted share, down from $1.12 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.05.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.16 billion, compared with $1.157 billion a year earlier.

Analysts expected $1.16 billion.

For Q3, the company expects non-GAAP diluted EPS of $0.85 to $0.95. Analysts expect $1.00. Revenue for the quarter is forecast at $1.05 billion to $1.15 billion. Analysts expect $1.19 billion.

Upbound maintained its 2026 non-GAAP diluted EPS outlook of $4.00 to $4.35, but narrowed its revenue guidance to between $4.7 billion and $4.85 billion, from prior outlook of $4.7 billion to $4.95 billion. Analysts expect $4.20 and $4.81 billion, respectively.
