Serko (ASX:SKO, NZE:SKO) reported that fiscal first-quarter online bookings increased 1% year over year to NZ$2.3 million, while completed room nights (CRNs) rose 39% to NZ$1.4 million, according to a Wednesday Australian and New Zealand bourse filing.

Average revenue per completed room night fell 11% to 8.70 euros, primarily driven by lower room rates and the impact of commission tiering.

The company said the Middle East conflict has had minimal impact on its business, with only a slight decline in regional CRNs, which accounted for less than 3% of group CRNs before the conflict, while volumes outside the region remain resilient.

Active customers rose 35% to 325,000 in the fiscal first quarter from 241,000 a year earlier.

The company reaffirmed its fiscal 2027 guidance, forecasting total income of NZ$128 million to NZ$134 million while maintaining its expected total spend between NZ$132 million and NZ$140 million.
