Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CM) said Friday that it nationally launched CIBC AdvisorAssist, a proprietary generative AI tool designed to automate meeting notes, summarize client conversations and streamline follow-up documentation for advisors.

The bank said the platform can reduce time spent on administrative tasks by up to 50%, allowing advisors to focus more on client relationships while supporting regulatory compliance.

AdvisorAssist is the latest addition to CIBC's AI suite, alongside CRTeX, DocuMind and Voice Assistant, as the bank expands its use of artificial intelligence across its banking and wealth management businesses, it added.
