NextEra Energy (NEE) and Brookfield (BN) are teaming up to build a data center campus in Kentucky for over $100 billion, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing an announcement by the Department of Energy.

The project will include the construction of 2 gigawatts of natural gas-fired power at or near the site in western Kentucky, and up to 2.6 gigawatts of battery storage capacity, the Energy Department reportedly said.
