Teradyne (TER) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Tuesday of $2.47 per diluted share, up from $0.57 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.09.

Revenue for the three months ended June 28 was $1.33 billion, up from $651.8 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $1.22 billion.

For Q3, the company expects adjusted EPS of $1.85 to $2.15 on revenue of $1.20 billion to $1.30 billion.

Analysts expect EPS of $1.56 on revenue of $1.06 billion.
