Domino's Pizza Enterprises' Next Trading Update Looks Key

Dow Jones
07/30

0251 GMT - Domino's Pizza Enterprises' sales at the end of its last fiscal year suggests it could miss consensus growth expectations for the December half, RBC analyst Michael Toner warns. He thinks that the exit rate implied by a 4.1% decline in same-store sales across the 12 months through June could hint at a miss relative to the average analyst forecast of 0.42% growth in 1H of fiscal 2027, which began July 1. Domino's Pizza Enterprises' result announcements typically come with a trading update covering the first seven or eight weeks of the subsequent period. The Australian fast-food franchiser is due to report its fiscal 2026 accounts next month, and Toner tells clients in a note that this information is now key. RBC has a sector perform rating on the stock and a target price of 17.00 Australian dollars. Shares are up almost 12% at A$20.03.
