Cummins (CMI) reported Q2 earnings Tuesday of $6.73 per diluted share, up from $6.43 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $7.23.
Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $9.46 billion, up from $8.64 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $9.33 billion.
For 2026, the company raised its revenue growth outlook to between 10% and 13%, up from its prior guidance of 8% to 11%.
Shares of the company were down 7.7% in recent premarket trading.
