Aldoro Resources Posts Increased Mineral Resource Estimate at Namibia Project

Aldoro Resources (ASX:ARN) said the mineral resource estimate for the Kameelburg project in Namibia rose to 804.5 million tonnes at 2.9% total rare earth oxide (TREO) equivalent at a 0.5% TREO cut-off, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The project's previous mineral resource estimate stood at 280 million tonnes, the filing said.

The updated estimate, based on phases one and two diamond drilling dataset of 39 holes for 16,904 meters, delivers an indicated mineral resource of 162.1 million tonnes in the more closely drilled core of the deposit, with an inferred mineral resource of 642.4 million tonnes.

The company holds an attributable 85% interest in the project, per the filing.

Shares rose nearly 2% in morning trade Tuesday.
