0236 GMT - CoreWeave's planned entry into Indonesia marks an important step in the development of AI infrastructure in Southeast Asia, says Ray Tay at Moody's Ratings. CoreWeave has announced an expansion into Indonesia that will be its first data-center presence in APAC. Moody's views the development as broadly credit positive for the sector. "A sizeable commitment from a frontier compute provider validates Indonesia's ambition to move up the digital value chain and deepens the region's ecosystem," Tay writes. Still, he notes that projects of that scale carry meaningful execution risk and success will hinge partly on Indonesia strengthening power infrastructure to reliably serve high-density data-center load.
