Worley (ASX:WOR) secured an engineering services contract from Missouri Cobalt, operating as US Strategic Metals, to support the development of a multi-metallic processing hub in Missouri, US, according to a Thursday statement by the company.

The project comprises a cobalt refinery and black mass processing facility designed to produce cobalt, nickel, copper, and lithium products from a range of feedstocks.

The company will provide global engineering, procurement, and construction support to strengthen North America's critical minerals supply chain and meet growing demand for strategic materials.
