Arista Networks reported higher profit in its second quarter, as sales climbed.
The network infrastructure company logged a profit of $1.21 billion, or 95 cents a share, compared with profit of $888.8 million, or 70 cents a share, a year earlier.
Stripping out certain one-time items, the company reported adjusted earnings of $1.02 a share. Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting 89 cents a share.
Revenue rose 38% to $3.04 billion. Analysts expected $2.83 billion, according to FactSet.
For the third quarter, the company expects adjusted earnings per share between $1.06 and $1.08 on revenue of about $3.3 billion. Analysts are expecting adjusted earnings of 92 cents a share on $2.95 billion in revenue.
