ASX (ASX:ASX) reported AU$8.39 billion of net new capital quoted in July, up 27% from the prior corresponding period, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company reported a total cash market value of AU$180.81 billion for July, up 10% from a year earlier, with the total average daily value also rising 10% to AU$7.86 billion.

In July, the average daily number of trades rose 32% from a year earlier to about 2.7 million, while the average daily value traded on-market jumped 12% to AU$6.65 billion.

The number of entities listed on the exchange declined 2% year over year to 2,045 in July, per the filing.
