Mistral and Uvision received an additional order from the Army worth more than $50 million.

The order is under the Army's Lethal Unmanned Systems program and will increase the quantity of HERO 120 drones and ancillary equipment to U.S. soldiers, the companies said Wednesday.

The additional order is meant to help soldiers train and prepare to employ precision strikes.

Mistral, which is owned by Ondas, is a defense contractor, while Uvision is the design authority for the HERO family of loitering munition systems, including the 120.

The U.S. military has been using more drones that provide close-up views and promise more precision. The drones have been used heavily in the war with Ukraine.
