Microsoft (MSFT) launched its India South Central cloud region in Hyderabad, expanding its cloud footprint as AI infrastructure demand grows, the company said Thursday.
The company said early customers include Adani, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank (HDB) and PB Pay.
The expansion enhances its capacity to support enterprise AI adoption as customers scale cloud workloads and digital services, it added.
Microsoft shares were up 1.8% in Thursday trading.
