JX Advanced Metals' Attributable Profit Nearly Triples in Fiscal Q1; Raises Full-Year Outlook

JX Advanced Metals (TYO:5016) posted an attributable profit of 53.1 billion yen in the fiscal first quarter, up 181% from 18.9 billion yen a year earlier.

Earnings per share increased to 56.06 yen from 20.32 yen in the year-ago period.

Net sales climbed 36% year over year to 260.6 billion yen from 191.3 billion yen.

Separately, JX Advanced Metals raised its full fiscal-year outlook, citing higher sales volumes supported by growing AI data center demand, a weaker yen, and higher copper prices.

The company now expects attributable profit of 141 billion yen, up from its previous forecast of 114 billion yen. Net sales should now be 1.025 trillion yen, up from 930 billion yen for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
