Apollo Global Management (APO) and KKR (KKR) received approval from European regulators to take joint control of Atlantic Aviation Holding, the European Commission said Friday.

The transaction focuses on ground handling operations in North America and the Caribbean, the Commission said.

The regulator cleared the deal under a simplified review process after determining it raises no competition concerns within the European Economic Area, the EC said.
