Challenger (ASX:CGF) launched an advocacy platform for improving financial and longevity literacy, the Institute for Lifetime Income, according to a Tuesday statement.

The platform will focus on research, education, and informed public discussion to improve understanding of retirement income and support the development of Australia's retirement income market at scale, the company said.

Challenger's shares fell nearly 1% in recent trading on Tuesday.
