Bank of America (BAC) plans to invest $250 billion in US infrastructure through its Critical Infrastructure Finance Initiative, multiple media outlets reported Wednesday, citing the bank.
The investment will be made through lending, investments, capital markets and advisory transactions over an 18-month period from Jan. 1, 2026 through July 4, 2027, according to the reports.
Bank of America's initiative will reportedly focus on data centers and semiconductors and will also cover conventional and renewable power generation and energy storage, as well as core infrastructure such as transportation, natural gas, water systems and critical minerals.
