Spyre Therapeutics (SYRE) said Monday that it has launched SPY772, a program that combines SPY072, a long-acting anti-TL1A antibody, and SPY007, a novel long-acting anti-IL-17A/F antibody in preclinical development.

The program is designed to treat patients with Hidradenitis Suppurativa, which is a skin condition that causes painful lumps deep within the skin, Spyre said.

The clinical-stage company said it has initiated a mid-stage proof-of-concept trial evaluating dual inhibition of TL1A and IL-17A/F to treat Hidradenitis Suppurativa. The study is expected to enroll 150 adults. Topline results are expected late next year or early 2028.
