Ambiq Micro's (SGX:AMQ) net loss narrowed to $7.1 million in the three months ended June 30 from $8.5 million a year ago, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Net loss per share dropped to $0.32 in the second quarter from $18.89 a year earlier, the semiconductor company said.

Net sales jumped 90% to $33.9 million in Q2 from $17.9 million a year ago.

For the third quarter, the semiconductor company expects a net loss per share of between $0.12 and $0.20 and net sales of $36 million to $37 million.
